This project proposes a comprehensive traffic axis which benefits both local communities and tourists in Jaipur.
This scheme diagram shows the structure of a North-South axis built by metro and cable car systems, and several rapid bus routes to connect the west and east area. Together with a urban-rural circle corridor, the design of this comprehensive traffic system will bring people, activities, buildings, and public spaces together, based on public transportation like the bus and metro and with easy walking and cycling.
Based on public transportation, this project creates an integrated and multi-function system by flexible modular units. This project enables a change from a car-centered to a people-centered network in Jaipur with emphasis on improving accessibility, walking quality, and creating more public programs beside roads.
