The Tulane University hosed the conference at Royal Sonesta Grand Ballroom, New Orleans to develop a dialogue about the crucial role of deisgners in creating an efficient framework of the rapidly changing world. In extension to the theme of the event, the universtiy invited Pankaj Vir Guptaas a keynote speaker to express his concern about the responsibilites of academic institution in creating vital ecological centers for the cities. He also spoke about the Yamuna River Project and its confrontation with the dilemmas of the urban sprawls and unplanned city explansion. Professor Alday was the Co-chair and host of the annual conference.
